Its primary purpose is to seal and satisfy the absorption of new or bare wood and provides a good bond for Pettit and Z-Spar varnishes, undercoaters, and enamels. For most wood including mahogany, oak, ash, fir, teak and plywood. NOT For use below the waterline.
