It has all the same advanced fishfinding, GPS, and chartplotting features as the 1158c plus high definition Side Imaging and Down Imaging for features that were unheard of just a short time ago. The 8,000 Watt transmitter operates to 1500' deep in the DualBeam PLUS mode with a 83/200 kHz transducer. Hi-Def Side and Down Imaging operate on 455/800 kHz up to 150' deep.
Down Imaging shows you, with picture-like clarity, exactly what is happening directly below your boat. Timber, brush, wrecks, pilings, rocks, and any other structure will show with incredible detail like a photograph.
Side Imaging allows you to see the terrain directly below you and out to the side in detail you've never before experienced. You can see if the bottom is dropping or rising, as well as rocks, trees, stumps, structure, fish, and more instantly.
